Six-hour small-group run through the Barossa with wine tastings, scenic stops and lunch.
This six-hour tour starts and finishes inside the Barossa Valley itself, which is its main selling point. Guests staying in Barossa accommodation are collected from their door, so there is no long transfer from Adelaide eating into the day. With a maximum of six people travelling together, it is aimed squarely at couples, friends and solo travellers who want a personal outing rather than a big coach experience.
The day follows a relaxed arc. First comes a guided winery experience with a tasting, then a second cellar door visit, followed by a charcuterie-style lunch built around local produce. The afternoon brings one more winery tasting before the return to the original accommodation. Wineries are picked based on their opening days and the experience they offer, with names such as Château Tanunda, Seabrook Wines, Atze's Corner and Laughing Jack Wines appearing on a typical route.
The guide is a Barossa local who hosts every departure personally, sharing history and stories between stops and passing through villages such as Greenock and Angaston. Tasting fees at the selected wineries, the guided experience, lunch and all transport within the valley are covered by the tour price. Wine purchases and tips are not. The operator also holds a Best Boutique Wine Tour Operator 2026 award for the Barossa Valley in the APAC Insider Awards.
A few practical points will help set expectations before booking this tour.
Common issues. This tour only picks up from Barossa Valley accommodation, so travellers based in Adelaide will need to arrange their own way into the region first. The itinerary is described as typical rather than fixed, and wineries vary according to their normal opening days, so anyone set on a specific cellar door should check with the operator before booking. Wine purchases and tips are not included in the price. As a shared tour with up to six guests, the makeup of the group on the day is outside any traveller's control. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours in advance.
The tour price covers pickup and drop-off from Barossa Valley accommodation, transport in an air-conditioned vehicle, a local guide, all scheduled wine tastings at the selected wineries, the guided winery experience and lunch. Wine purchases and tips are not included.
Pickup is from Barossa Valley accommodation, arranged as detailed at booking, with Rowland Flat listed as the pickup location. It does not collect from Adelaide, so travellers staying in the city would need to make their own way into the valley first.
Lunch is included. It is a generous charcuterie-style winery lunch featuring local produce, lasting about an hour and fifteen minutes. Any wine you want to take home is a separate purchase.
The tour is limited to six guests. This keeps the atmosphere personal, and the listing says couples, friends and solo travellers are all welcome.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
The route varies because wineries are selected according to their normal opening days. A typical day may include Château Tanunda, Seabrook Wines, Atze's Corner and Laughing Jack Wines, always with a mix of guided experience and tastings.
